I generally respond to inquiry emails within a few hours if they are received on weekdays between 6:00 AM and 4:00 PM (JST).

02. Pricing
◆Translation (English to Japanese): starting at ¥15 (or US$0.12) per word
◆Proof-reading (Japanese to English): starting at ¥4 (or US$0.03) per character
◆Proof-reading (English to Japanese): starting at ¥8 (or US$0.06) per word
Note: all figures are based on the character/word count of the source language
Prices will differ depending on the contents of the material and the conditions of the project. Adjustments can be made to fit your budget, so please feel free to bring up the subject when you request a commission.
◆Teaching: negotiable (estimate: starting at ¥3,000 per session for individuals and ¥30,000 per session for corporate entities)
Prices will differ based on the contents of the lecture and the number of participants. Please feel free to contact me for details.
◆Copywriting: starting at ¥5,000 per page (400 characters per page)
03. Work Speed
◆Translation (English to Japanese): 2,000 – 4,000 words per day
◆Proof-reading (Japanese to English): 10,000 – 15,000 characters per day
◆Proof-reading (English to Japanese): 4,000 – 6,000 words per day

Work speeds will differ based on the contents of the material and the conditions of the project.
04. Delivery Format and Payment Method
◆Delivery format: SDL Trados format (Return Package, etc.), Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx), PowerPoint (.pptx), PDF
◆Delivery method: via email, postal services, or uploading to a server (if you do not have a specific server you wish to use, I will use firestorage)
◆Payment method: bank transfer to the designated account (Japan); the timing of the payment can be accommodated to fit your company’s regulations
